Thanksgiving

(I guess I am going to post multiple posts for our Thanksgiving activities because I can not get the stupid post to accept more than 1 picture per post. Lame.)

Jayson and I had so much fun at the Clarks for Thanksgiving. We are most thankful for our families and we love them sooo much! It was a cozy Thanksgiving with us, Jayson's parents, and Nate and Paige. Coleen did most of the cooking- but Paige made some delicious appetizers and I made homemade rolls. Before you are too impressed that I made homemade rolls...they didn't turn out so great :) I have wonderful memories of my grandma making homemade rolls on Thanksgiving and they were absolute perfection. So I attempted to re-create the scene from my childhood but it wasn't exactly how I had hoped.
While we were baking, Coleen asked Jay Dee to go to her favorite gas station VIP and get all of us cokes...

In his defense I believe that Coleen did say "64 oz.".........

State Champs!

My little brother is a senior and has been playing football for Alta High School. We have loved going to the games and cheering for the hawks! (I know it's a little super-seniorish; but he is my brother!)

They have had an incredible year, and topped it off a few weekends ago with a state championship. Michael is so excited! He can't stop talking about how big his championship ring is going to be!

Karate Kid

My family had a big dinner for my brother Andrew's 15th birthday last Sunday. While the girls were getting the food ready upstairs, the boys had baby Lili in the basement. When they came upstairs she looked like this.....

Jayson explained that her headband kept falling off while they were playing with her, so they tried to put it on a new way and in the mean time gave her a new look. It turned out to be more secure- so we left it and just called her the little "karate kid"!

We Love Football!

We love fall- with the crisp air, the golden leaves, and of course FOOTBALL! A large percentage of our weekends is spent either at football games or watching them on TV. My little brother is on Alta High School's football team and we went to their quarter-final game last Friday and they beat Timpanogos 35-28! Hooray! Now they will advance to the semi-finals this Friday where they play their arch-rivals Bingham. Go Hawks!

We also love BYU football (for obvious reasons)! Luckily Jayson's dad is generous with his season tickets and we are able to go to a few games! We took my two younger brothers to the Colorado State game on Sat. and had a lot of fun! Go Cougars!

Halloween

I had forgotten how fun Halloween really can be, so it was great to be at an elementary school. It was fun to see all the little girls dressed as princesses and all the boys dressed as super-heroes. We had a Halloween party and a parade through the school. (I love my job)
Jayson and I enjoyed hanging out at the house and watching my parents get so excited to answer the door in their costumes (my mom had a great witch hat and my dad wore a really ugly old lady face mask!) My little brothers had pretty good costumes too! I dressed up as a devil and Jayson was his darling self :)
