Sophie 18 months

This girls is at an absolutely darling age. I could just eat her up every day!

  • She still has her baby chub, but thinks she is as big as her sister, so she runs after Savannah with her jiggling cheeks and chubby thighs.
  • She talks all day (we're not always sure what she is saying) She can say so many words, I won't name them. She did recently say her first prayer. Savannah has been on a prayer strike and while Jayson and I were trying to get her to say it, Sophie just piped up and said (copied Jayson) the whole thing!
  • We can't believe she is getting so big/old. She is just such a baby to me.  Although this age is hard, I am just really trying to enjoy every minute of her, because I know it won't last forever.
  • Sophie is obsessed with her big sister and every morning when she wakes up she asks where "Nana is?" or she will just march upstairs to her room and wake her up.

Sister Love

I just love these 2 little ladies and love how they are playing so well together.
Nothing makes this mama happier than to see her girls loving each other.
(even though Savannah doesn't show it on her face)

Stroller Sisters

Savannah can now open the laundry room door to the garage and thinks it is great fun for her and Sophie to play in the car.
I don't love this, and we just recently bought locks to prevent this in the future,
but I thought I would capture the cuteness

LOVE THEM!

Boise State vs. BYU

Thanks to Jayson's kind brother, we made it to the sold out BYU BSU game.
It was a good game with a disappointing finish.
The best part was seeing our good friends the Richardsons!

Erin and I just had to whip out a pose for old times sake

While Jayson and Troy were golfing, Erin and Boston came to our house to visit us girls.
It was so fun to see them, and made us wish we lived closer!
(Boston had a great time swinging with the ladies!)

Sick Day

Poor Savannah woke up with a stomach bug one morning.
She snuggled with us in bed and then had a "cough spit" (aka throw up)
She continued to be really sick all morning, so we snuggled up on the couch and watched
Cinderella 2x though. Once I thought her tummy had settled down we headed to Walgreens to get some soda and crackers. I knew I had finally reached motherhood when I was driving while reaching back holding a bowl for her to get sick in :)

Naturally, Sophie had to have crackers and soda for lunch too.

Sometimes sweet Savannah sneaks out of bed and comes downstairs.
This time she was so quiet we didn't hear her.
Good thing we checked on her before we went to bed :)
