A
Tea Party
bridal shower for the Bride-to-be
Carolyn, Grandma Katie, and my aunt Claudia
Using grandma's special china
In honor of the Tea Party theme we all wore my grandma's old hats
Grandma, mother, and daughter
The wedding ceremony, reception, dinner, etc were absolute perfection.
Macy and Richie were just glowing and I couldn't be happier for them.
(I didn't take any pictures at the events because my hands were full with my girlies.)
(Jayson was in Cabo, so I was on my own)
Since Jayson was enjoying his own vacation, and was coming home only to go on another trip, I wasn't in a hurry to get back to ID. We enjoyed our time in UT and got to spend a lot of time with the Lundeen family (they are living with my parents this summer for an internship). Unfortunately Miss Savannah and Miss Serelle were a bit naughty together and had to be watched constantly.
Naughtiness Act #1 they covered my parent's closet floor, drawers and clothes in lotion.
Naughtiness Act #2 while "taking a nap" together they ripped apart all pages to all the children's books in the room.
Savannah also had a few nights where she had too much sugar and stayed up too late meaning the only way to calm down and go to sleep was for me to physically hold her down while she was kicking and screaming. One night it took an hour!
We needed a bit of a cousin break and headed North to hang out with our favorite Grammy. She took us to Eden to play in the pool.
This face would never be naughty
This is my water baby! She could just float for hours.
And with the attached rope, she never got too far away.
This lady loves dress up!
(And don't you want to just pinch those thighs?!)
Jen and I took Poppi to his favorite restaurant Me Kong for his birthday
Both Mimi and Poppi had all 5 grand-girls at their birthday celebrations
Unpictured were many great memories, including; a swim date at the Mattingly's, birthday pedicures with my mom, Park City shopping, seeing the newly-engaged Alisha for a few minutes, catching up with Marcie and baby Adrie, catching up with Erin and baby Boston, girls night out with my besties from NE, 10:30 pm In N Out burgers, watching the Centerville fire, a couple of failed attempts at restaurants with 2 kiddos (notice they were absent from Poppi's birthday lunch), a day at the lake- where Savannah was so brave. She was nervous to get on the boat, but ended up riding on the tube with mama!, a bit of shopping, an ounce of exercise, and a whole lot of delicious food. We had a fabulous time, but missed our daddy terribly and were very ready to come home!
