August was a crazy, busy, super fun month! We started out with the annual Clark family reunion in Eden, UT. The day at Lagoon was especially fun this year with the girls getting a little bigger and braver. Sophie was best buds with cousin Ray and wanted to ride all the rides with him.
Jannie and I had fun riding the kid rides as well :)
Sorelle and Savannah are best buds!
The cotton candy was a pretty big hit! As was the rented wagon- the girls much preferred that to our double stroller.
Sav and Brig
While we were in UT, Jason and Courtney blessed their sweet new baby girl Ruby!
Poppy always entertains the girls with his ipad during church.
Jen and her girls drove back to ID with us to visit for a week.
We love our new suburban and all the room we have for extra visitors!
We had sooo much fun with the Lundeen girls! We went to McCall for a day and showed them all our favorite places and planned a future Hawks reunion.
Downtown Boise at the Historical Museum
Not very easy to get a good group shot :)
It was so fun to ride in these paddle boats! (except that it was 100 degrees outside!)
Of course Jayson took us all to a movie on Friday night! Love him.
Mimi and Poppy, Stephen and Cline all drove to Boise to pick up Jen and her girls. We floated the Boise River on Saturday morning.
love the swimsuit buns
Can't believe that these 2 little boys are off to college and missions
Uncle Jonny requested individual pictures of all the cousins so Cleo can remember them. I loved that the girls did the same pose without me asking them to.
With new kitties in tow, we are headed to UT again! This time for Stephen's mission farewell
Jen's Triathamom! She did so great! I just might have to join her next summer.
Our afternoon at 7Peaks got rained out pretty quickly, but we had just as much fun at Jen and Kylan's new condo with pizza and good conversation!
I am so proud of my baby brother for choosing to serve a mission. He is going to Madrid, Spain! We will miss him dearly, but know he is where he should be doing the Lord's work.
Twinners!
Picking corn in Melba!
Savannah decided she liked staying in the cool clean car instead of the sweaty, dirty corn fields.
Sophie's boots were too big and cumbersome, so she just walked around in her socks. She was the opposite of Savannah, getting very dirty while her and Ray played in the corn rows.
They loved eating the raw corn!
We went to McCall for Taylor's surprise 40th birthday weekend.
Taylor and Jayson
Warming up on the dock
Our day at the beach was Savannah's actual 4th birthday! She was nice to share it with Taylor.
We celebrated with a sundae at Ice Cream Ally.
Savannah requested a pink barbie cake for her birthday this year.
I can't believe that this little girl is 4 years old! She has brought such tremendous joy, light, and personality to our family! I am so grateful that I am her mother. She is strong, brave, kind and loving.
Her favorite thing is to have her cousins over for her birthday
Last McCall trip of the summer with Mike and Sicily. Only wished we could have stayed longer...
