Jayson is already an amazing dad. He has come to every single one of my doctor's appointments for the last 31 weeks or so. At our last appointment 2 weeks ago the doctor was an hour and a half behind schedule. Which means, we got to wait in the lounge for an hour or so and in the room for another half hour. Needless to say, Jayson and I both were a little peeved. The doctor (whom I love) came in and apologized and Jayson said we would forgive him if he agreed to do another ultrasound so we could peek at our baby. (We felt a little jipped at our 20 week ultrasound because baby girl had her spine in the front and so all of the pictures were a little blurry and had shadows on them.) He told us that that would make him even more behind (obviously) and that he was sorry.
Well today when we went in it to doctor it wasn't crowded at all. After the regular weight, urine, uterus check the doctor asked if we were still interested in an ultrasound. Heck yes! It was so fun to see our baby girl again. He showed us her heart and slowed the machine down so we could see it opening and closing with every beat. All of her measurements looked good and he estimated her to be about 4 lbs. 10 oz. Hopefully she won't be as big as her daddy 9 lbs. 14 oz.
If you look closely you can see her eyelids.
Look at those chubby cheeks! I already want to pinch them! I know it's just an ultrasound but I swear she already has Jayson's button nose.

Oh my goodness! I'm so jealous that you got to see your baby! My doc said I won't have another one at all. :( She is so cute & I love her chubby cheeks! Hope you're feeling good. I'll call you soon!
How fun! You can guarantee that her auntie Jen will be giving her lots and lots of smoochies on those chubby cheeks!
